Printing technology has evolved a lot over the last decade, and we stay up to date with the latest developments. Our aim has always been to provide the highest quality decals out there, and we are constantly looking to be better. The story has been one of gradually improving our products and services, investing when we could afford to do so, when the timing was right. It is eye-opening to think that almost 15 years has passed since we began, so I guess you could say that growth has been steady and organic. OT: That’s right! After selling my car to fund a printer and laminator, the first year of Slik was in the garage. Can you walk us through the growth of the company? Sending us a simple reminder would have put your request to the top of the pile and would have given us a 2nd chance to respond.SNT: What did the early days of Slik look like? We read on your website that the first setup was in your mom's garage with a single printer. Please understand that we receive hundreds of new enquiries each week, and we can't possibly go back and read messages from 5 months ago. You have placed 4 orders over the last 4 years without a single complaint, one of which was a custom decal kit. It is very surprising from a repeat customer who seems to be happy with our products. I regret that you felt the need to leave a 1 star review here. The decals have to be set up, printed, dried, finished, then packed and shipped. We don't have any items sitting on a shelf. Please remember that our products are ALL made to order. Your most recent order was turned around in 2 working days. In response to your comment about decals 'taking ages to send out', well that's simply not true in your case. There is no such thing as a 5 minute job, especially one that requires custom artwork, setup, design proofs etc. The customisation we do is usually limited to the range of decals that we already offer. We ARE a small company and do not have the surplus design time to take on every job. You are correct, we do not always take on one-off custom orders like this. Your enquiry was for several unique custom decals. Hi Tommi, sorry we didn't reply to your custom decal request back in August last year. We hope that your are happy with your decals when they arrive and that you return here and modify your review accordingly. We are confident that your decals will arrive soon. Today is Sunday March 5th, which is less than 3 weeks, or 12 working days since we shipped your decals, so we are still within the stated shipping time. Maybe you didn't receive our response? Could it be in your junk folder? We understand your frustration and apologise that the standard shipping service can sometimes be slow, but it is beyond our control. We have received no contact from you since then. We responded on the same day (on a Sunday evening) thanking you for your patience and kindly requesting that you wait a little longer. You emailed us on Sunday 26th February for an update. The standard shipping time from Sweden to USA with untracked shipping is 2-4 weeks, which is clearly stated on our shipping info page. You opted for the untracked shipping option so there is no tracking number, although we do have proof of shipping. You placed your order on 12th February and we shipped your decals on 15th February.
